Sunriver is easy to get to either by way of plane, train or automobile. There is a small airport in Sunriver for those with small planes or privately chartered flights. The main airport, serviced by Delta, Alaska and United Airlines, is located in Redmond, Oregon, about 40 minutes from Sunriver. Sunriver is only 10 miles south of Bend, Oregon--Central Oregon's main hub of "city" activities. Central Oregon is a mere 3 hour drive down from Portland.
